RISE – Research and Information Skills Enhancement

RISE Learning Outcomes:

1) Integrate sources appropriately

2) Seek information from multiple perspectives

3) Assess sources’ logic and evidence instead of simply summarizing conclusions.

RISE Structure:

· RISE instruction will be conducted through Moodle.

· RISE will target the BA Religion program particularly.

15 courses in the BA Religion program will include three RISE lessons:

 · Information Lesson -- beginning of semester

· Practice Lesson -- midpoint of semester

· Mastery Lesson -- end of semester
